Exhibition Text

The solstice invites us to consider natural and human cycles, the passages of time, and our connection to the world around us.

The works of Neil Dawson, Chris Charteris, and Yuki Kihara encourage us to reflect on nature’s intricate details, and its resonance within human culture and upon creativity.

Harnessing light and colour through innovative use of materials, Israel Birch and Russell Moses explore transience, ambiguity and mutating experiences; what we see and how we see it, from one moment and beyond the next.

Elliot LoveMichael Hight and Nigel Brown highlight the complexities of meanings that underlie seemingly familiar scenes, revealing layers of cultural, historical, and personal narratives while also offering fresh perspectives on landscape painting.
