Rhythm and perception are deeply intertwined: rhythm provides structure to sensory experiences, while perception interprets and shapes those experiences.

The light-filled works of Israel Tangaroa Birch and Galia Amsel dance with colour and energy. Neil Dawson, Ian Scott and Mark Mitchell explore the diversities of pattern, materiality, and space.

Paul Dibble, Nigel Brown, and Chris Charteris, build multiple dialogues about past behaviours, the symbolic essences and fragilities of our natural environment.

2020 and 2024 Arts Foundation Laureates Yuki Kihara and Lonnie Hutchinson add the rhythms of time, event and motif into conversations of cultural identity.
