Exhibition Text
Studio 18D Part Two features career defining works by Brent Wong, Terry Stringer and Robert Ellis. There are new basalt sculptures by John Edgar. Michael Hight is represented by a classic beehive work and a recent surreal painting. The humour and bite of Joanna Braithwaite’s painting is complimented by the social anthropology of Michael Shepherd, the assurance and magical authority of Reuben Paterson’s glitter paintings, the deceptive mastery and illusions of Mervyn Williams.
