By examining human expression through my own experiences I see the world as a place of separation, an inescapable cycle of a developing life. The desire to attune myself to the frequency of my own surroundings, to learn to understand the complexity of it all and be able to react to it accordingly and appropriately, has led me to this new work.

The works explore the body as a vehicle, a tool that enables us humans to have the experiences to evolve. These seemingly empty exterior forms, shapes, containers or bodies constructed with wire, reveal the potential for an existence that may mean heaven or hell. The decision to choose is an empowering experience.

Defined openings or windows indicate an inlet or outlet, where a study of oneself begins or continues. They also make reference to determination and clarity, developing a dialogue between the external and internal. I choose images that trigger my contemplative thoughts and most importantly my works are reminders to strive for a greater understanding.
